The new Federer racquets are a far cry from the old Pro Staffs. Groundstrokes are heavy and push through the court, though the RF97 seems more adept at flatter, driving strokes rather than looping strokes. For being so heavy, it's surprisingly maneuverable, though by the 3rd set it's pretty fatiguing, especially on serve. Volleys, drop shots, and lobs are automatic - this racquet is a scalpel.
