The Blade 98S reminds me of the old Ultra FPK's of the 1990s in terms of flex and feel. The open string pattern of the 98S offers the possibility for great spin, but the racquet's lack of mass lets it down. I like this racquet on my forehand and backhand equally. My backhand is usually much weaker. With the lighter weight of the blade 98s compared to my older blade tour, I can swing faster and hit the ball more in front of me. This is very important for power on my backhand.Rating
