The Babolat Cortex line of racquets is a nice improvement over the ever-popular Pure Drives. The one complaint that Babolat received from its players was that the racquets were too stiff. Babolat solved this problem with the addition of Cortex in the handle. Cortex stops the harmful vibrations often leading to tennis elbow. It also allows 'feel' to transfer so control is not diminished. Playtesters have found this to be true as the Pure Drive with Cortex is quickly becoming every bit as popular as the older versions.
